Best Vehicles for Belize.

All of our Sport Utility Vehicles are equipped with 4x4 options.

It is true that one does not always need to have a vehicle with 4x4 in Belize, but it is also true that it does not hurt to have one.

A 4x4 vehicle is not needed on the main highways such as the Western Highway or the Northern Highway. We also find that in most cases 2 wheel drive SUV's can get you across most of the dirt roads the country.

However, there are many areas that one may need the 4x4 options available. This would usually be in the undeveloped regions of the country where properties are being developed and only a cleared land path is availble. One would also find it necessary to have a 4x4 vehicle during the rainy season especially when travelling to areas such as Sarteneja, Placencia, Coastal Road Areas or the Mountain Pine Ridge Areas.

Note: A great deal of the roads leading to many of the Maya Ruins or Remote Resorts are not paved. More than 40% of the roads in the Country of Belize are not paved.
